Venue

The MANIAC Challenge will be co-located with IEEE Globecom in Washington, DC. The competition will be held over two days on the 25th and 26th of November, 2007.

Travel Grants

We are happy to announce the availability of travel grants for the MANIAC Challenge. The grants are primarily meant to support students traveling to participate in the competition. We expect to award travel grants of up to $1,000 for teams traveling from the US and up to $1,500 for international teams.

To apply for the grant, teams should email Prof. Luiz DaSilva ldasilva@vt.edu with the following information:

1. Name and contact information of team members.
2. Affiliation of team members.
3. A one-paragraph description of the team's plan to participate in the competition.

The deadline for applications is October 31, 2007.
